This project was also implmented by Vlora Aarhus Information Centre, now part of our NGO Change - Regional Development Agency.

The project aimed to address the lack of law enforcement at the local level in terms of information, consultation and public involvement in decision making processes.

At the end of it, will create positive practices of law enforcement following an all inclusive methodology between authorities, community and civil society.

This will enhance mutual trust that early involvement is not an obstacle but an added value to development policy.

Through constructive cooperation with various structures of local government and with stakeholders and citizens will aim at public consultation become a common practice for all plans, programs and annual budgets in Vlora Municipality and will encourage local use local public consultation as an efficient tool to attract more citizens in decision-making and to allow them a voice in any alternative public investment carried out in the municipality of Vlora and that has an impact on community life.

The project will also facilitate cooperation with the NEA (National Environment Agency) to conduct public hearings on the investment issues and problems affecting the environment.
