Simultation drill on emergency situation at International School - Vlore town

Organized by Aarhus Information Centre of Vlore, in cooperation with Vlore Municipality on May 27, 2016 at 11:00 hours

Simulation drill on emergency situation/ disasters order to find out the preparation of its staff and pupils about the situations of fire taking place accidentally at their premises. This activity is being organized also as a planned activity from AIC Vlore in cooperation with Vlore Municipality and Fire Brigade Directory in framework of the DRR Project, implemented in Vlore Municipality from February 2016 to June 2016 with participation of several stakeholders, interests groups and civil society.

Increasing the public awarenness about the risk exposure to the fire and to the safe using of butan gas cilinder has been the main focus of this initiative, supported by OSCE, Presence in Tirana and implemented by AIC Vlore in cooperation with Vlore Municpality and Fire Brigade Directory.

Through session of information at many schools in Vlore Municipality and organizing of public consultations with public officials and local stakeholers, the AIC Vlore aimed to increase the cooperation of public institutions for emergency cases such as fires, drawns, landslides, errozions etc.

The event being organized at Internationl School in Vlorw town, aims to alert the local authorites about the measures needed to be taken for improving the situations in public and not public schools of Vlore Municipality and to test the preparidness of every person about the unexpected situation such as fires or other natural disaster.
