Making the Visitors Center of Radhima an accessible center for persons with disabilities

The project is intending to increase the role of public institutions and local community for preventing the fires in south Albania and reduce the damage from fire.

The project is being implemented in the framework of Interreg IPA II Cross-Border Cooperation Programe Greece- Albania 2014 - 2020 and there are 5 partners involved:

Gender Responsible Budgeting in Vlora and Saranda Municipalities

Change - Reginal Development Agency, thanks to the financial support of UN Women in Tirana, has implemented for 4 years the Gender Responsible Budgeting in two municipalities of south Albania: Vlore & Saranda.

It has been a great success as many of the recomandation addresed to local decision makers by our Organization with the cooperation of local groups of interests, have been included into plans, programs and strategies of local government units.

Civic Activity for Good Governance in the Municipality of Selenica

This project was realized by Vlora Aarhus Information Center, now part of our NGO Change - Regional Development Agency 

The project "Civic Activity for Good Governance in Selenice Municipality", a project supported by the sub-grant "Anti-Corruption and Capacity Development" fund under the EU-funded CIVILISC project, Implemented by IDM.

Strengthening the Environmental Awareness through Public Participation in Vlore Municipality

This project was also implmented by Vlora Aarhus Information Centre, now part of our NGO Change - Regional Development Agency.

The project aimed to address the lack of law enforcement at the local level in terms of information, consultation and public involvement in decision making processes.

At the end of it, will create positive practices of law enforcement following an all inclusive methodology between authorities, community and civil society.

The Global Round Table on PRTRs took place in Madrid on 24 and 25 November 2015. The round table was held back to back with the fourth meeting of the Working Group of the Parties to the Protocol on PRTRs (26 November 2015).

Ecologic Island – a new challenge and possibility for increasing the public awareness about waste management and recycling

This project was also realized by Vlora Aarhus Information Centre, now part of our NGO Change - Regional Development Agency.

The project aimed to organize public awareness sessions and to put into practice the separation of differentiated and recycling, to create a culture of respect for the environment and saving raw materials.

The project was implmented in cooperarion with local authorities of Vlore Municipality and the local NGO that works with waste, Emmaus Vlore.

The final activity of the project: "Raising the public awareness of youths and citizens about waste separation and recycling".

In the framework of the project: “Raising the public awareness of youths and citizens about waste separation and recycling” Aarhus Information Center with the support and the collaboration of REC Albania, SENiOR-A program organized in Himarë, in 26-th February 2015 the final activity of the project. In this round table were present local actors, groups of interest, youths, representatives of civil society and the manager of SENiOR-A program Mr. Rezart Kapedani.

The youth - promoter of awareness for the differential separation.

AARHUS Information Center with the support and in collaboration with REC Albania, SENiOR-A Programme, in the framework of the project “Raising the public awareness of youths and citizens about waste separation and recycling” organized the following activity in 21.01.2015 at 09.30 am at Himara High School.

This meeting aimed the awarness of students and the youth for the waste separation and recycling. Also this awarness session aimed to raise collaboration between local authority so the waste separation becomes a daily practice for the citizens.
