Encouraging the economic development of the Southern Region of Albania - this is the motto of the Change Organization - Regional Development Agency.

Achieving the Organization's main objective will be achieved by contributing to sustainable development by promoting active participation of citizens, women and girls, young people, marginalized groups and local businesses in decision-making processes.

The Organization seeks to use long experience in the realization of various projects in the Southern Region of Albania, the long experience in cooperation with various interest groups and cooperation with local, national and regional public institutions, to foster economic development of the South Region of Albania, by also promoting various interest groups, women, girls, young people, businesses and marginalized groups to actively engage in democratic decision-making processes, thus making a sustainable development possible.

The Organization, Change - Regional Development Agency cooperates closely with various local, national and international actors for:

• Increase of cooperation between local officials, stakeholders and civil society on environmental issues and good governance;
• Informing the interested public, interested groups, citizens about environmental matters, decisions and laws that impact on community life;
• Economic Strengthening of Women and Girls to Enable an Economic Independence that would Strongly Affect Realistic Gender Equality;
• The economic and social development of the Southern Region of Albania through initiatives that have an impact on the economic and social formation of the community;
• Creating a climate of trust between citizens / community and public institutions, promoting constructive cooperation through public forums, public hearings for a sustainable development with the participation of different interest groups;
• Public awareness on increasing civic and civil society participation in environmental decision-making and good governance;
• Public awareness of young people about environmental protection and increasing their participation in environmental and good governance issues;
• Improving local policies in favor of the environment and sustainable development by implementing environmentally friendly projects;
• Creation of organized civic groups capable of holding the local government responsible for their decision and better public services for the community;
• Inclusion of issues of women, girls, marginalized groups and youth in local government plans and programs through public consultations and public hearings;
• Involvement of climate issues that disturb the community on local plans through green platforms.
